Mayor – Round 6.2: Back at home

Table of contents

(Previous post: Lucky’s campaign)

Working tirelessly trough the summer on his sister’s campaign meant Zeke had little time so spend at home, he was there mostly to sleep and when he really got the time to cook an occasional meal. He wasn’t able to join his mum who was now retired and when she wasn’t in the garden keeping her plants alive, would be relaxing in the newest addition to their garden, a hot tub, it seemed for his outdoor-loving mother the pool was just not enough…

The Sunshine Blogger Award – 2

So I have been nominated for yet another one of these. 🙂 This time it was by Pink Gumdrops who’s blog I have just recently discovered, on generation 9 of her legacy story, nevertheless I really liked it. It is fun to read and features some really unique sims so I recommend you go and check it out yourself. 🙂

As I mentioned I have already received this award, so you can the rules, my questions and nominations here. I am writing this post to answer Pink Gumdrops’ question and to say thank you Pink Gumdrops. 😀 I am really honored to have received this award from you. 🙂

1. if you could sit down with any fictional character and have a conversation, who would it be with?

Wow a tough one, there is so many fictional characters I would like to meet. 🙂 But if I have to pick one then maybe Harry Potter, I kind of always felt as if we grew up together. 🙂
2. are you a dog person or a cat person?

I like both. (lame answer I know :P).
3. any other favorite games, besides the sims?

Besides the sims… Maybe CIV?
4. do you have any tattoos?

No. I personally don’t like tattoos.
5. what’s your most favorite food that you can cook yourself?

I am not a great cook I must admit. 😛 SO maybe just fried chicken or pasta?
6. what’s your favorite trait for sims to have?

I like most of sims traits. What makes sims thoroughly unique is the combination of traits. (although some might seem lame or annoying at time :P)
7. do you have a favorite sims 3 expansion? or what sims expansion are you still looking forward to getting?

I plan to get them all!!! 😀 The last one I got was pets, and I didn’t have time to play it as much as I would like but I’m enjoining it a lot so far. I loved generations and ambitions as well.
8. have you played the sims 4? thoughts?

Not yet.
9. describe the last nightmare you had.

Hmm… I don’t remember honestly, I don’t have nightmares that often, I did have a lot of weird dreams last week but none of them were exactly nightmarish.
10. if you were a sim, what world (from any of the sims games) would you want to live in?

Dragon Valley would be awesome I think!
11. how much wood would a wood chuck chuck, if a wood chuck could chuck wood?

A lot? 😀

Caliente-Frail – Round 6.3: Trying to go back to normal

Table of contents

(Previous post: Play-date)

The next day was Summer’s big day, she had talked about nothing else for months now. Today she finally headed to the spa to finish the paperwork that would make her an official partner in the Sharma Day Spa. Bradley got up earlier, got Silvester ready for school and surprised his wife with flowers along with coffee and breakfast.

Caliente-Frail – Round 6.2: Play-date

Table of contents

(Previous post: Blood on Bradley’s hands)

“You are making pancakes!” Silvester spoke loudly behind his father’s back. Although he startled him from the worst of thoughts Bradley managed to smile back.

“Yup, all for you champ.”

“And you and mom?” Silvester asked surprised.

“Well some for me and mum too.” Bradley said and smiled. Silvester hopped up on the high chair with an anxious look in his green eyes. He does have the sweetest eyes… Bradley thought with a slight chill but  he managed to remain focused on the pan in front of him.

Caliente-Frail: Round 6.1: Blood on Bradley’s hands

Table of contents

Whenever Bradley Frail had a night off he would get up first in his house. Sometimes he would go out for a run but on most days he would go up to the kitchen and make breakfast for his family. While Summer’s mum Nala was alive this was her job but the kind old woman had been gone for years and it was time for someone else to step up. While Summer spoke about wanting to learn to cook for months now she never got the time to do so and Bradley hadn’t minded at all.

The Versatile Blogger Award-2

Hey I know I have had this post already but I have received yet another of these awards from greencatssims. I have discovered this blog only this weekend and I love it already! Greencatsims is very talented at building beautiful houses and interesting sims. I can’t wait to explore more of that blog because I have been liking everything so far! Check it out you won’t regret it!

As for my random facts and nominations, you can read all about that here!

The Versatile Blogger Award

Hey everyone I have been nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award by RosemaryMarie who is writing an awesome legacy story on her blog. I am only on generation 1 myself but I am loving it already so I recommend you go and check it out yourself. 🙂

Here are the rules:

1. Thank the person who nominated you
2. Share the award on your blog
3. Share seven random facts about yourself
4. Tag 10 bloggers with less than 1000 followers and let them know they have been nominated

Seven Random Facts About Me:

  1. I love to read! Reading had been one of my earliest hobbies and enjoy it to this day. I would much rather read a book than watched a TV show or a movie.
  2. Nobody I know in “real life” or “offline life” knows about this blog, or the fact that I have a blog.
  3. I work as a software developer and I like doing that. If nobody is going to pay me to read books or play computer games eight hours a day that is the next best thing.
  4. I don’t wear make-up often, almost never in fact but I like wearing nail polish. I have over thirty bottles of nail polish on my shelf right now.
  5. I have played the sims since sims 1 came out. When I started college I got a little behind, at that time sims 3 came out and I didn’t like it at first. Now that I’ve got free time for gaming and I’m catching up again. 🙂
  6. I suck at learning languages, I speak English and my own language and that is about it. I learned German and Arabic but I couldn’t have a simple conversation in either.
  7. I am very close to my family.

My Nominations:

Once again I’ll try and nominate only people that haven’t received this award yet and preferably the ones that I haven’t nominated in my previous award post. There are many more other blogs I enjoy and follow.

  1. Eight Cicadas Story about a really cool and interesting immortal dynasty, it has a lot of chapters for you to bingread and enjoy)
  2. Invalid Legacy (A sims2 legacy blog I discovered recently)
  3. Kingdom of Eos (A story about a royal kingdom, set in the world of sims)
  4. Meowfaze’s Sims (One of the first blogs I started following, has all kind of different enjoyable sims stories)
  5. Simbolistic (A cool blog with several stories from the custom world of Twin Bayous)
  6. Simdale Valley Post (ShannonSimsFan is currently busy and not updating this blog but use the time to catch up if you haven’t already, you won’t regret it)
  7. The Chrysanthemum Tango (RipuAncestor who writes this blog writes another one called The Fey of Life, and I recommend reading it even if I am not officially nominating it this time 🙂 )
  8. The Hunt for Freedom (Not a sims blog, but a story written by a sims player, it is in its early stages but really promising)
  9. The Shore Legacy  (A legacy that wasn’t updated in a while but I really enjoyed reading it)
  10. The Windsor Legacy (Another legacy in its early stages but with great characters and interesting twists.)

Thank you once again for nominating me RosemaryMarie. 🙂
