It was rather quiet in the office when Lysa walked in. Shirley, her co-worker was there filling her nails under the desk.

“Hi.” Lysa said dropping her purse on her desk.Shirley muttered a hello without even lifting her head.

“You shouldn’t get too comfortable.” She added as Lysa was turning on her computer. “The big boss is here.” She said gesturing to the halfway open door of the next room. Lysa looked in and saw a black haired woman talking on the phone her back to the door.

“I swear to you Lysa if she says one thing to me today… Just one… I’m going to hand in my resignation without a second thought…” When Lysa said nothing Shirley went on. “I can you know… ‘Smoke’, my band is doing really, really well… We have a weekly gig in the inn now, it is a start I know, but a really good one, it is a break I have been waiting for. So I can just quit…”

Dougie Hoves shuffled nervously pushing away a fallen leaf with his the tip of his foot. He was all alone in the graveyard today but still it was a though battle, finding the right words to start talking. Some days it wouldn’t be so hard, some days words would just fly out of his mouth and Dougie wished today was one of those days.

And so Dougie found himself staring at the big stone in front of him. The stone stared back, cold and expressionless. Dougie focused on his mother’s name, etched in the cold surface of the stone. He read it over and over, trying to summon her with his thoughts.

Intro

Dougie’s and Lysa’s story starts the day they got married at Lysa’s mother’s home, shortly after Dougie’s mother Blair passed away. A bit of update…

First of I have not given up on this blog!

I am just very busy with work and everything and it is very hard for me to find any time to focus on it. But the truth is I am working on the next installment, it is about half way done so maybe this weekend, or the next I’ll start publishing it. Hopefully…

I am very behind on game play as well, my save for this town takes about 20 minutes to load so I never play unless I am sure I’ll have at least an hour or two for it to pay off. Sadly lately I barely ever have as much time to do the stuff I like, or when I do have I am just tired from sitting at the computer all day to sit at the computer again…

And I am very behind on most of your blogs as well…. I am catching up slowly and I hope I’ll read everything all of you have been publishing in the last two months. Currently I am only one month behind I think. 😀

That’s all the updates regarding this blog…

Secondly I wanted to share one more thing with you, I am starting yet another blog! I know it is a bit contradictory to what I said earlier about having little time but I have been thinking about it for a while, and not playing my “main” save I have lost inspiration for writing about my standard cast of characters and wrote about other stuff…

So I decided I want to try something different, namely a story that focuses just one sim at a time and see how that goes. 🙂

I chose a premade sim and a EA made world, namely Twinbrook and its resident Harwood Clay. Harwood is the first premade I played in Twinbrook once upon a time, I liked him a lot but in that game he died before having any children. Hopefully his fate would be different this time and we would get to read about his descendants as time goes on…
